LADIES LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

Playoffs were completed this past Saturday, a sunny and toasty June day in the Texas sun.  You could feel all the nervous energy in the air prior to the start of our 9:00 a.m. matches.  Highlights of the day:
  • Great tennis on all courts
  • One of only three ladies bathroom stalls out-of-order again
  • Several with severe leg cramps
  • Jugs were full of water, pickle juice and gatorade and players were drinking it willingly
  • Only two necessary retirements due to heat
  • One ambulance visit with NO trip to the ER thankfully.  We're pleased to hear she's doing very well now
After a fun but hot day filled with highly competitive tennis, we did have victors emerge.  There were lots of good matches played.  Great day of tennis.  Congratulations to all our winners and best of luck to you at Sectionals.  It will be MUCH hotter in August so everyone be sure to HYDRATE VERY WELL!
