IT'S ALL OVER BUT THE CRYIN' GIRLS :-)

We're nearing the completion of our Spring USTA Weekday league season and many of us are weeping wildly into our crying towels. :-)  Everyone put up a good fight this spring, but there are clear winners for the North and South 4.0 leagues.   This spring's winner for the 4.0 Weekday North is Tennacious, captained by Martha Ware;  Winner for 4.0 Weekday South is Polo Partners, captained by Alecia Ragan;   These two teams will play a Round Robin Playoff format along with the winner of the Weekend 4.0 League (TBD but it looks like Rockin' Racquets may have it sewed up).  The Championship Playoff is scheduled at UT Whitaker for June 4th, Rain Date is June 11th. Match times are 9:00 a.m., Noon, and 3:00 p.m. Winner advances to Dallas Sectionals August 12-14, 2011 for 4.0 women.  Little State in Corpus, TX will be August 12-14th for 2nd and 3rd place Championships playoff finishers.  Should be some GREAT tennis so come out and cheer on your favorite team to advance to SECTIONALS!  Good luck to our winning teams.  Do us Austinites proud!
