WTTA TODAY...COURTYARD SMASH VS. WILCO RALLY GALS

Well, we started out with one of our lines being defaulted due to illness, (get well soon Connie).  My remaining teammates fought the infamous WILCO wind, Delette Sokolosky's down the line shot, and Ellen Vento's lefty serve.  Courtyard Smash managed to pull out 3 lines with a W today.  The Rally Gals, captained by my friend Carol Bagaline, are one of the three tough Wilco teams playing WTTA flight one this season.   FUN tennis with great friends and great players.  The other two Wilco teams showed up at 11:00-ish to play against each other for their 11:30 scheduled match time.  Good luck to you guys!

The Rally Gals had a rough day on the courts today. Terri Craun and Cathy Miller played very well. Terri had a great volley put away and Cathy was rock solid at the net.
