Officiating and other Do's and Don'ts

DO learn from those that have more officiating experience;  (the two very handsome men in this picture are my mentors from the North)
DO ask lots of questions;
DO show up on time, dressed with gear ready
Do NOT default a player unnecessarily
Do call foot faults on Jill and Tina
Do question line calls by FRED (she's as blind as I am)
Do NOT ever make your bed and break your toe(s), thus preventing you from calling foot faults on Jill and Tina.
Do not give Martha Ware a code violation for her well-known and loved screeching on the court...everytime I think about it, I chuckle to myself.
Do not give any site director at any tournament a hard time....they are over worked and very much under paid.
